Real talk, I dislike the TNT Barbie body’s proportions cuz it just doesn’t jive with my more modern tastes, plus I literally own almost nothing that looks good on those proportions despite how great other people can do it.
But I did want to have at least one Wicked Witch to be close to stock as possible so she got her old body back. I then realised that hey, one of my all time favourite Mod era dresses looks great on the TNT body so here we have Elphaba wearing some lovely pink lol.

I realised that hey, maybe for the Halloween Doll Extravaganza on Sunday I should pick out costumes for my dolls to wear. Turns out there’s very few costume-y things I own and they so happen to be two of my fav magic wielding books so yeah.

John, I’m only dancing!! by criscrash13 on Flickr.

I was out with my bf at a fancy shopping centre and we decided to pop in The Game Shop cuz card and board games a plenty. I saw a sign saying “Barbie items 20% off” and dug around. I saw this Becky pack behind a glass cabinet.

I asked how much it was, and the person said “Oh, it’s $280 but with the sale going on it’ll be cheaper.”

I’m just sad cuz there’s no way I would spend $200 for one doll, especially with the Melbourne doll market in less than a week now so I just snapped a few pics and sadly looked at this set.

here’s the second one, it’s not really that noticeable but she has greyish streaks in her hair oh and she’s huge lol.

This is definitely Lisa Littlechap the mother of the family, and was heavily based on Jackie Kennedy. Her description is: “Lisa Littlechap – Mother of the Littlechap Family… attractive Mother of Judy and Libby… former model, wonderful cook… president of the PTA and the best dressed woman in town.”
And yeah from what I can find online the adult Littlechap dolls TOWER over Barbie but I have zero idea how to redress them so yeah.
I found a helpful blog link but honestly Littlechap dolls are really hard to find much info on so I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.

I found some dolls at a salvation army in a bag of random barbies, I don’t know if this would be something you’d be interested in but I thought I’d share. I have another one too but I can’t figure out how to send two photos at once >-<

Ahhh you found two of the Littlechap family made by Remco in the eary 60s. The Little chaps were modelled on the Kennedy family and promptly retired after JFK was killed. They’re in a different, larger scale than Barbie so while I myself have been interested in getting a Littlechap I haven’t actively looked for one yet.
The dolls themselves were sold in bath robes (much like Barbie being sold in a swim suit at the time) and there was a lot of different clothes for them sold separately.
This doll here though is Libby who’s described as: “Libby Littlechap – Kid sister of the Littlechap Family… age ten, fifth grader at Lanesville Elementary School… loves to climb trees, pester her sister and wants to be a doctor like her daddy.”
Of course this is just what I know rather than extensive guide on it but yeah, you got yourself a rare treat there!
